I have had this reoccurring imagination since a child which always freaked me out. It isn't a dream because I know it's been created in my mind. Neither is it a thought, as it is accompanied by images which I cannot comprehend. But they follow a similar trend each time. The scene unfolds in a gathering of people. There is laughter, chatter, and a lot of background noise. Then suddenly, that same scene is replayed but any human sound is sped up, occurring at a faster pace. It sounds creepy, I'll assure you it's nothing like those "Bee Movie Sped Up" Youtube vidoes. And then it abruptly ends.
That is how quickly October is leaving me. Come back, Oh'ctober.
For many teenagers, fun is defined as going out, eating well, getting dressed up, taking millions of pictures and coming home late. I don't think there is anything wrong with that. I have fun like that the days I can, but some days fun just isn't like that in my dictionary. What does Google say, though? Google defines fun as enjoyment, amusement, or lighthearted pleasure. Today, I defined fun as staying in with my sister and her daughters (MY BABIES), still eating well (of course), wearing comfy clothes which I can nap in, and not having enough time to even snap one picture.
I love turtles, but I don't want to be one. Especially when it comes to cameras. Generally I'm not hiding in my shell. I love getting in front of the camera and striking a pose with my girls (they love taking pictures, I think I get it from them). I'll happily let my family take pictures of me in front of Niagara Falls even though we've been there plenty of times. I can take 50 selfies on demand.
We are. Think about it. Would time move, if we didn't? When we leave this World's journey for the next, won't time keep going because we will keep going. More generations. More people. Time ain't running, we are.
